giving to Agapé
Agapé exists because of people who believe in what we are doing and give financially. Our system has a governing rule of designation: every cent has a place and purpose.
Staff raise support for their work, a system that has worked for us since 1973. This involves gathering around a team of people who believe in them and the work they are doing and want to partner.
General fund needs are assessed each year by our leadership and raised from individuals, trusts and other grant giving bodies.
Our staff have thriving networks of support which enables and empowers them in their work.
Support students leading out in mission on their campuses through events, projects and retreats.
Our latest web projects are promoting the gospel online and reaching out with campaigns.
Covering the operational costs to support the frontline work of our staff and volunteers.
Each staff member raises their own support when working with Agapé.
This starts with a comprehensive training and continued coaching and support, as the staff member begins the process of building a team of people to support them.
It is more than simply asking for money, it is developing long term sustaining partnerships in ministry.
