Walking for Dublin

Not only will this be an unforgettable experience for you, but it will also offer you a chance to collaborate locally to help people in Dublin with real needs.  We are partnering with Serve the City, Dublin, to raise funds and awareness of their volunteer-led community initiative to meet the practical needs of people in our own community.

How will we do this?

You will be encouraged to raise funds by asking your friends and family to sponsoryour walk at €0.10, €0.20, €0.50, or €1.00 per km (€15, €30, €75,€150).  The funds you raise will be split between Serve the City and your cost to participate in the Camino Project.

We will also spend one day together in a community project locally (which will also serve as a team-bonding exercise for us to get to know one-another) in advance of our Camino trip. This is tentatively set for Saturday, April 17.

More information will be provided on this. None of the fundraisingactivities will be required,  but we fell it will be a great way to getto know each other before we go to Spain, and may provide ways toslightly reduce the price of your journey to Spain.
